To all primary care physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists working in ambulatory care:
Applications are being accepted for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. Although availability varies from year to year based on number of applicants and federal funding levels, we currently have ten family docs, three family nurse practitioners, three dentists, and at least one psychiatrist and one psychologist receiving loan repayment, some of whom won approval for loan repayment in the last couple of years. Awards for part time as well as full time work are available.
